Guide for broadcasting and viewing live media on vexcast.com:

Steps for viewing a channel -

1. Please select the channel you would like to view from either home page or the channels page. Please note that currently all the live content is only viewable through Internet Explorer browser.

2. In order to view a channel you must download and install the Vexcast.com Web Player Plugin or accept and install the active x plugin which appears in the player area of a channel page. If you install the web player plugin, it is not necessary to install the active x and vice versa.

3. If you have the web player or the active x installed, then you will be able to see the vexcast player containing the live stream.

4. You may view a live stream in full screen either by clicking the full screen button on the right of the player or by double clicking on the player window.

5. In order to receive the best viewing experience, please do not carry any downloads while viewing live media on vexcast.com

Technical Requirements -

Browser Required : Internet Explorer

Plugin : web player plugin or active x

Minimum download speed : 1 mbps

Minimum upload speed : 128 kbps

Steps for installing the active x plugin -

If you do not see the active x when visiting a channel page for the first time. You must change the security settings of your internet explorer browser in order see the installation window of the active x plugin. To do this, go to Tools > Security > and then click Custom level. Once you are in the custom level section, you can make the necessary adjustments for active x settings or you may just set the custom settings to "Medium" or "Low". Please note you can always reverse these settings.


Once you are able to see the active x, you may install it by clicking on the Active X bar and Installing the same.
